Shalini Adnani is a writer & film director based in London. Her latest film White Ant, made in collaboration with Film4 and Stone Bench, premiered at Sundance 2023 and went on to be long listed for a BIFA, won Best UK short at Raindance 2023 and was acquired by Canal+.

She has a BA from Bard College in Political Philosophy & Latin American Studies and an MA in Filmmaking from the London Film School. She is also a Berlinale Talents alumni.

Her feature debut, Kollam, is in development with Film4.

​

She also writes prose and works in prison rehabilitation with young offenders at Belmarsh Prison.
